Mini-review: As for The Stagger Inn on October 22nd, things kicked
major ass! Show openers Black Sun were off-beat and really cool, with their mix of Tool's
sound, Pink Floyd's extended-jam vibe, and Marylin Manson's look. Show closers
Creepshow were at the top of their game, playing killer originals and about any cover the crowd threw
at them for an hour-and-a-half set that would've gone longer had the bar not required a 1:30am cut-off. In
between, the boys layed it down and Turley gave just about his best vocal performance to date, shredding
Hyde and Wasted, and knocking the rest of the set out of the park as well.
