The Shows
I wasn't gonna bother, but I guess it was an official gig (giggle!)
house party, October 29th, 2004:
[three or four bands played before us,
two or three would have after, but...]
Set (11:30ish):
- Lady Killers
- Pissed Off [up to the solo]
Our PA and no lights. Sound by Rowland. And I finished setting up first, too, dammit!
Mini-review (snicker, snicker!): Well, a D.J.-less appearance at a house party in Wilmington on
October 29th went about as badly as you might have expected. With seven local bands in the late-teen range
slated to play, confusion and competition pushed our set back just late enough that we got
one-and-a-half-songs in before the cops showed up to end all the fun.
Maybe it was the noise, but I doubt the 14-year-olds smoking pot visibly from the street helped much.
